A bit about Chile

Basics
Chile is located on the Pacific coast of South America. It is a long and narrow country bordered by Peru in the north, Bolivia and Argentina in the east and the ocean in the west and south. Noai Island (a made up island ) is located in central Chile. Here is a map. Noai Island is about 20 miles off the coast of the mainland and is not on the map, as it is fictional. Noai Island is pretty flat, as it's a tad small. It can easily be driven across in about two or three hours.

Language
The main language of Chile is Spanish, however, on Noai Island the main language is English, as most of the residents are not from Chile, but from all around the world. Although, if you were to go to the main land, many people speak English there as well, but it's more likely you'll bump into people who speak Spanish.

Currency
In Chile, they use the peso as their form of currency. The have bills of $1000, $2000, $5,000, $10,000, $20,000 and coins of $1, $5, $10, $50, $100 and $500. However, for this RPG's purpose, Noai Island generally the Canadian or American dollars, as they are relatively close and share the same bill and coin format.

Weather and Seasons
The weather in Noai Island is very moderate. It rarely rains, and when it does it usually never downpours. The average temperature in the summer months is about 20°C (68°F) and in the winter it goes down to about 2°C(36°F), rarely dropping below 0°C(32°F).
